WEC 24h Le Mans - "US" vibes around the #79 Porsche

ProSpeed LeMans24h 2010 79Porsche911GT3RSRBOLLINGBROOK (ILLINOIS, USA) - The WeatherTech Racing will be at the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the team comprised of Cooper MacNeill (USA), Jeroen Bleekemolen (NL) and Bret Curtis (USA). These three drivers will be sharing the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR #79 entered by ProSpeed Competition in the LMGTE Am category. This world-renowned French 24 Hours race will take place on 14th and 15th June at Le Mans, on the mythical la Sarthe circuit. Winners of the Prix Ascra (2011), awarded for the best technical assistance, the ProSpeed Competition team is present at the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the fifth consecutive year. The Belgian team is also entering a second Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, in the “Triskell” Art Car livery, to be manned by François Perrodo (FRA), Emmanuel Collard (FRA), Markus Palttala (FIN).

2014 WORLD ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP – 6H OF SPAPROSPEED COMPETITION SCORES FIRST WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS

ProSpeed WEC Spa14 Porsche911GT3RSR75 2SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS (BEL) – In the world there are three official world circuit championships. The FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) is one of these and this weekend this high-ranking world championship was on hand on Belgian soil. In front of a home crowd the ProSpeed Competition drivers François Perrodo, Emmanuel Collard and Matthieu Vaxivière with their sixth place in the LM GTE Am class came away with their first official World Championship points in the team's history. During six hours some 46,000 spectators watched how some of the best world endurance teams battled it out nail and tooth. One day earlier, Friday evening, it was down to a mere two hundredth of a second for the Belgian Porsche 911 GT3 RSR to have also grabbed a first World Championship pole position...

24 HOURS OF LE MANS:FIVE IN A ROW FOR PROSPEED COMPETITION… NOW WITH TWO CARS

ProSpeed LeMans24h 2010 75Porsche911GT3RSR RaceTONGEREN (BEL) – For the fifth consecutive year the Belgian ProSpeed Competition team will be competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Le Mans race is one of the three biggest world motorsport meetings. This 83rd edition will be held on the Le Mans circuit, in the heart of La Sarthe (FRA) on the 14th and 15th June coming. ProSpeed Competition will be entering two cars, two Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, which includes the #75 regularly competing in the World Endurance Championship. The on-going presence of this Belgian team at such a level clearly justifies the choices made by Luc Goris and Rudi Penders for the ProSpeed Competition organisation. The history of the 24 hours of Le Mans and that of Belgian motorsport are closely linked. ProSpeed Competition’s signature will appear in the large register where, in golden letters, the names of Jacky Ickx, Olivier Gendebien… as also those of Luigi Racing, the Ecurie Nationale Belge teams and Compagnie Nationale Excelsior also feature.

WEC Silverstone - The race did not pay off

2014 WORLD ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP – 6H OF SILVERSTONE PROSPEED COMPETITION, THE RACE DID NOT PAY OFF

SILVERSTONE (GBR) – The day following the first race of the European Le Mans Series the top level World Endurance Championship (WEC) also experienced its first race of the season on the British Silverstone circuit. This time around the Belgian ProSpeed Competition team were in for a six hours race. The French trio comprised out of Emmanuel Collard, François Perrodo and the promising young Matthieu Vaxivière, a mere 19 years old, drove a perfect and trouble-free race, right up until they experienced mechanical problems. The race lessons acquired will come in handy for the following assignment, namely the 6 Hours of Spa, to be held in just over a fortnight. The team and the drivers fully proved to hold their own in the LM GTE Am class and have every intention in confirming this on Belgian soil.
